Group G - Matchday 2

Chile - Switzerland 1-0(0-0)

Chile was so good in their opening game against Honduras that most observers suggested that the 1-0 scoreline didn't reflect the true nature of the game. So, we have seen in Chile one of the few impressive teams in the first round of matches in the group stage of the World Cup.
Switzerland's defensive football against Spain showed how tight their backline can be and although Chile do have a very potent attackline, it was very tough to breach into the Swiss citadel.
Nothing happened untill half time and the score was 0-0. In the second half the south americans took the lead through a great shot from Suazo and the score remained 1-0 for Chile untill the end of the game.
