Cote d'Ivoire VS. Portugal
The match between Côte d’Ivoire and Portugal featured no fewer than five Chelsea players: Ricardo Carvalho, Paulo Ferreira and Deco lined up in the Portuguese team, against club colleagues Salomon Kalou and the Ivorian talisman Didier Drogba which was still doubtful before the game.
It is known that Portugal have not always been at their best in the warm-up games, so the draw is a good result for both teams. Cote d’Ivoire are more than just Didier Drogba and proved to be a very strong opponent. The game finished 1-1 and the goals were scored first by Zokora and then Deco came with the equalizer with a shot from short range.
