GHANA vs. GERMANY 0-2 (0-2)
AUSTRALIA vs. SERBIA 1-1 (1-3)
Yet another very balanced group comes to an end tonight, with every of the 4 teams having their chances to go through. It is also the group in which an African team has more than theoretical hopes to make their way into the last 16. Both Germany and Serbia start as favourites in tonight's clashes.
Although it was too early too tell, some may say that Germany's lead at halftime, 0-2 (2x Podolski), is enough to put them through. Looking at the other fixture, Australia's lead (Bresciano) was cancelled before the 2nd half by Serbia's counterattack (Jovanovic). It ended as most would have predict, with Germany and Serbia still paying for rooms in South Africa, as Ghana and Australia started packing and booking their flights home, Ghana 0-2 Germany, Australia 1-3 Serbia, with Krasic and Vidic scoring too.
